From checking in the merchandise, to setting up for the big event, to numerous other tasks, the sale would not be possible without our volunteers! We appreciate our volunteers immensely!!
Volunteering is fun, easy and you meet so many new people!! Plus, you can earn yourself an exclusive pass to the Volunteer ONLY (no guests permitted) pre-sale...the perfect way to make sure you can shop early and get the best selection.

Each volunteer shift earns you the following incentives (a shift is equal to 4 hours except for the chair shifts which are 3 hours):

Volunteer Only pre-sale pass not available to consignors or the public ***

SPECIAL for the Spring /Summer 2010 event only. You may work a quantity of 2, 2 hour shifts to equal a 4 hour shift. You must work both on Tuesday night from 5:00-7:00 pm and then again on Wednesday night from 5:00-7:00 pm.
In addition to the above incentives, several shifts can earn these Bonus incentives:

work a total of 3 shifts and reduce your consignor fee to $6.00 (each shift is 4 hours except the chair shifts which are 3 hours)

work a Thursday or Friday pre-sale shift and get V.I.P. entry at 11:30am to Volunteer Only pre-sale on Thursday, February 11th (There is a mandatory meeting for these shifts at 11:30am before shopping)***

work chair/table re-set shift (a 3 hour shift) on Saturday and earn credit for a 4 hour shift. (ladies, feel free to send your husbands!!!)

work chair/table removal shift on Monday and get credit for a 4 hour shift in just 3 hours. (ladies, feel free to send your husbands!!!)
Nursing moms: we are sorry that at this time we do not have shifts that would accomodate a nursing break but feel free to send a friend or husband in your place. Still only one entry into the presale will be permitted.
If a consignor does not show up for their shift(s) they will not only lose the incentive but their commission percentage will drop to 30%. It is VERY important that volunteers be responsible for their shifts. If you are unable to work please find a replacement. If you have an EMERGENCY please notify Kristen at 480-276-3323 or Gretchen at 602-570-3576 that you will be unable to work. We have implemented this volunteer policy in order to prevent people from taking advantage of the early shopping benefits, and then failing to work their scheduled shift. This policy allows us to attract only those who are responsible and dependable. Please be aware that we do not offer childcare for volunteers at this time.
***Please be aware that volunteers who consign items that are not their own property will lose their extra commission earned and default to 65%.
Additional opportunities are available to individuals who want to earn a “Volunteer Pre-Sale” pass with or without being a consignor.
Signs or Banners: We need banners and lots of small signs to advertise our event. If you are able to supply us with either of these a Volunteer Pre-Sale pass will be earned.
Media Coverage: If you can help us with Radio, Television or Newspaper Coverage you will receive a Volunteer Pre-Sale Pass.
Graphic Designer/Artist Needed: If you can redesign our flyer for us you will receive 80% commission.
This spring we are in serious need of street signs to be created. If you can set us up with these you can earn 80%. Please e-mail us with your ideas at info@thesavvysale.com
